The unique Fencing History Museum has opened in Moscow thanks to the Meritorious Coach of the Russian Federation, Fencing Master of Sports Leo Serafimovich Koreshkov. The museum features a large number of exhibits which Koreshkov has been collecting for the last 40 years. A number of unique exhibits were presented by other collectors. Among them are over 2,000 medals and badges, over 1,000 mail stamps, envelopes, and postcards. The museum also displays prize cups, medals, books, and photographs of Olympic champions and their coaches. The Fencing History Museum is housed in the Chertanovo sports complex in Moscow.
